Trung graduated from Drexel University in 2022 with a B.S. in Chemistry. He did undergraduate research with Dr. Kevin Owens using MALDI TOF MS to investigate matrix effects on protein and polymer standards. He also completed two 6-month internships at Drexel University as Research Assistant and at DSM Biomedical as Analytical Engineer. After graduating, Trung joined Thermo Fisher Scientific where he developed and validated HPLC methods for drug products. He joined the Bush Lab in Autumn 2025 as an MSACST student and is currently involved in the programmed-temperature ESI project.
