Martin is an undergraduate chemistry major at the University of Washington. Before joining the Bush Lab, he conducted research in the Cossairt Lab on diffusion-mediated cation exchange of Cr and Er in copper selenide nanocrystals, contributing to the work on ternary metal selenide spinel synthesis. He joined the Bush Lab in May 2026 and is developing new measurements that use Structures for Lossless Ion Manipulations (SLIM).
