Bio
Bruce graduated from Drexel University with a BS in Chemistry in 2018. During his time at Drexel University, he did undergraduate research with Dr. Kevin Owens on the matrix to analyte ratio analysis of polyethylene glycol using MALDI TOF MS with electrospray deposition. During his undergraduate time, he completed three 6-month co-op internships at the Community College of Philadelphia, University of Pennsylvania Nursing School, and CertainTeed Saint-Gobain Corp. (Malvern, PA) as a lab assistant and research assistant with Dr. Maya Clark-Cutaia and a lab technician respectively. He returned to the R&D testing group of CertainTeed Saint-Gobain Corp. after graduating in 2018 to obtain more experience in using multiple analytical instruments including ICP, XRF, FTIR spectroscopy, and SEM on elemental analysis of glass fiber insulation raw materials. He joined the Bush lab in the winter of 2021 as an MSACST student and is currently involved in the structures for lossless ion manipulations (SLIM) project and the MOBILion project.
