Bio
Alice Martynova graduated from Trinity College in Hartford Connecticut with a B.S in chemistry and a minor in gender and sexuality studies in 2020. During her time there, she performed research under the direction of Dr. Cheyenne Brindle and Dr. Michelle Kovarik working on the synthesis of fluorescent probes for detection of superoxide radicals. In her senior year, Alice also worked with Dr. Janet Morrison on developing methods for detection of Parkinson’s markers in sebum using DART-TOF-MS. Alice joined the Bush lab in November 2020, focusing on optimizing relative mobility measurements using traveling wave ion mobility instrumentation for small molecule drugs, lipids, and various calibration standards.
